Also, he must learn how to comprehend the reactions of the patients while extracting blood and should ensure that he acts in a skilful manner so as not to hurt the patient. Also in phlebotomy training, it is pertinent that a phlebotomist learns more about the human anatomy, the different veins in the body, their interactions with one another and also with the body and how they are located for extracting blood for further analysis. Another thing a prospective student of phlebotomy must understand is that theoretical aspects of training will not do it all. You must spend several hours in the hospitals during practical venipuncture training classes, watching the professionals perform their job and perform a lot of practice tasks. The more practical you are, the more precise you’ll be, and the more confident you’ll be in executing your job.
